My name is Patricia Barsallo, and I am the CEO and founder of PattyB Spa and Wellness. I am a Licensed Esthetician in New York and Brazil.

PattyB Spa and Wellness was created after a selective and intensive research to bring our clients the best techniques and therapies in the Esthetic Massage around the world. For this purpose, I went back to my home country, Brazil, one of the most renowned countries in the Esthetic Industry and have been personally trained and licensed by Renata Franca. She is one of the most revolutionary Lymphatic Masseuse therapists, and Nany Mota where I specialized in post-surgery massage techniques.

At our Spa we use the lymphatic massage techniques, which is a very soft massage to help relieve pain, swelling and the overall healing. We use these techniques in combination with Cavitation to obtain the best results.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic Massage has a long list of benefits. Apart from being a blissfully relaxing, manual lymphatic drainage(MLD) decreases facial puffiness, boosts the immune system, soothes cellulite and soothes sore muscles.

Our lymphatic system is key to healing, regenerating tissues, and removing toxins from the body. When the body has experienced stress, such as fighting off illness, healing from an infection, or experiencing emotional stress, the lymphatic system can slow down. Manual lymphatic massage helps “re-start” the system of moving lymph through the body and can provide a variety of benefits.

After spa-goers have a lymphatic drainage massage, they may never go back to a regular massage again! lymphatic drainage massage helps deliver cellular waste (including virus and bacteria) to the lymph nodes. Drainage is essential because the lymphatic system lacks a pump of its own to transport lymph through the body and must rely on movement and massage to flush the fluids.

how does it works

Lymphatic drainage massage consists of gentle, rhythmic pressure, whispery soft finger strokes, and ultra-light drumming and stretching of the skin in the direction of the lymph pathways toward the lymph nodes. This logic is that will counteract the lymph system’s tendency to became sluggish, so sometimes is so relaxing that clients are lulled to sleep during treatments. The only thing you have to do after is to make sure you drink plenty of water post-treatment.
